Tips for interpreters and users

  • Try calling a friend on Skype to check that your setup is working.
  • Check this page for information on how to optimise your audio settings.
  • If possible, please make sure you are using a headset.
  • Check that your microphone is not on mute.
  • If you have more than 1 microphone check that you have your preferred mic selected.
  • Speak slowly and articulate.
